Violence, after all, is no mystery.
It’s peace that’s the mystery.
Violence is the default. It’s easy.
It’s peace that is difficult: learned,
inculcated, earned.

12 Rules For Life: An Antidote to Chaos

Orchestrating  Wonder  for the Restless Heart

  Blog by Deepti Channaiah

Hi! Welcome to my blog! I'm so glad that you stopped by and hope you find something that's real, meaningful and enriching.

What's this blog about? The loss of wonder amplifies chaos and this personal blog attempts to befriend indispensable peace and gratifying wonder. I rely on credible solutions, subject matter experts and faith in God
to resurrect wonder for a fulfilling life.

We don't know much about the universe, for instance, dark matter makes up 95% of the universe and cannot be detected by any scientific instrument. I can't say 'Voila' to that right! While science is important, science alone isn't the definitive answer to all questions. Wisdom is more precious. I'm an ally in the fight for meaning and discovering life's purpose, in keeping with coherence and reason, of course.

This personal blog will include random things, inspirational chatter, travel stories, insight on reasonable faith, poems, creative writing pieces and useful content.

I can handle profound thinking, debates etc. Too bad if you can't.

When the universe is so fine- tuned                                  orderly, is it a freak accident? Doesn't science (laws, DNA, systems at work) point to an intelligent
mind who created an orderly universe--exclusively for our survival? I like to ponder these things.

- You and I can be rational because we have a brain. The universe does not possess a brain, yet it is presumed to be rational.

- Science also begins with "assumptions". How? The mathematical equations, constants and natural laws are formed by assuming the universe follows laws, by assuming the universe is comprehensible.

- If you look at the fundamental numerical values of nature, the hydrogen atom, the mass of the proton is 1836 times the mass of the electron, look at the gravitational force, the electromagnetic force, strong nuclear force, look at all the different constants of nature.
What happens if you change them a little bit? If you try to fool around with these values, you would have no life.

                                                                                                                - Dinesh D'Souza

How did the laws that govern the universe come into existence? Why do people study the universe? Because they know there is design, logic and orderliness--not chaos.

Pasta Lovers, Here's to Poetic Pasta

White penne dressed in snowy hues
Harmony escorts this savoury treat
Deliciousness dances in excess
Pasta invites a happiness fest.

Oregano drizzled in creamy sauce
Flavour in flour is off to a nice start
Textures of symmetry, textures of sauce
Orchestrates a melody, a stout heart.

The atmosphere dances to a peppy tune
Content and merry, life blooms
Such joy an alfredo brings
Like I'm flying on an eagle's wings.

When researchers reason, I listen.

When the Oxford Mathematician debates, I listen.

"Human history is the long terrible story of man trying to find something other than God which will make him happy."

- C.S. Lewis

Influenced by C.S. Lewis

C.S. Lewis's towering intellect and his ability to discern, bolstered with timeless wisdom makes him one of the most nuanced writers. Logical reasoning is critical to understand certain ideas and he's able to explain complex ideas about human nature, the purpose of life, theology in a "reasonable", systematic way that makes sense.

His non-fiction books echo truth, banking on analytical thinking and its logical conclusions. His storytelling is wholeheartedly embraced by many, and his books have inspired cinema, crafted to enthral--with all the special effects.

What's so special about his reasoning? An accurate representation of reality and human struggles, the leverage of real emotions, and the adventures of good vs. evil are a common theme in his works. It's relatable and lovable. The presence of wonder greets often. The stories position you amidst the drama--to fulfil your purpose; to think and take decisions like a godly leader. All in all, lofty teaching, fine drama, and a harvest of meaning.

Behold reasoning...

1. Mutations & Genetic Entropy: If u look at any genome ( human or chimpanzee) mutations are building up and information is degrading. That means the human race is devolving ( not evolving) i.e. accumulating bad genomes. This goes AGAINST Darwin’s Theory of Evolution.

2. Why do the 9 planets ( not just one) go around the sun in an orderly way? Why not move in a haphazard way, not consistently?

3. If Earth were further away from the sun, we would freeze, and if closer, we would burn. Why is the distance so “precise”? And the temperature, living conditions etc.

4. Why does an acorn always become an oak tree? Why can’t it become a mango tree or a seahorse? Because it’s goal directed.

5. However you section physical reality or cut it, you will NOT find a reason for its existence. That means the reason it exists is to supply food and environment for us.

6. Who founded Oxford University, Yale and other top universities? Christian missionaries.

Melody must be exalted and shared.
