Scintillating turquoise water gleams through the horizon here. Stationed within the Western region of the North Island, Raglan is a beach town hard to miss. At the edge of the island, it resides, casting its captivating presence over mortals desperate for wonder. It was a typical weekend, and my buddies and I decided to greet this paradise. We hit the road in the morning, prepared to spend the whole day unwinding in the lap of serenity. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The picturesque ocean paints the atmosphere, cajoling your heart to heed to the rest it offers. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The mighty waves dance to the rhythm of nature--they rise and descend in symphonic succession, the troughs and crests, perfectly synchronised. Raglan is a homey, clean and pretty town for the stereotypical holiday experience. If you're an adventure junkie, surfing is particularly popular here. The waves they say have their unique rhythm--a momentum cherished by surfers. Head to the #Ngarunui beach on any sunny day, and you’re quick to see scores of surfers riding the blue currents. A little bit of trivia The waves at Ngarunui beach rise anywhere between 6-8 feet. The period between May-Oct witnesses the tallest waves--the ideal time to greet the most adventurous of surfers. The symphony of the waves and the surfers climbing these swells are a delight! This is where you get to see life in action--people embracing the best of creation. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Connecting with nature is fulfilling and Raglan is just one of those magical spots

The Pit Stop For Campervans
Raglan is also a place that greets beach-hungry souls camping in their caravans. Attune to New Zealand’s backpacking spirit, you could often find adventurists in their campervans holidaying at Raglan. For such people, a special Holiday Park is available for an overnight stay. After soaking up the sun and oceanic magic, resting in a caravan while the sky lights up diamonds, is an ideal way to call it a day. The waves hit their musical keynote helping you relax. Such an experience is coveted.
Accommodation at Raglan
Accommodation options are fairly limited. You can find more holiday resorts, hotels than budget-friendly motels. There are a few studios and apartments too. Long-term accommodation in particular isn’t readily available. Lodging in tents at Solscape is pretty popular too. This would be a fun stay with a camp-like ambience, perfect to satiate the adventure zealots. What’s more? It’s more environment-focused; so not only are you rejuvenated but you're also preventing carbon footprints.
The fine-tuning and precision of creation ain't a freak accident
The oceanic paradise echoes God’s creation, His creative prowess and His architectural genius. Aesthetic dimensions as well as the science of sustaining it--He’s mastered it all. The planet is designed to glorify God’s magnanimity over lesser mortals. Yes, we, the lesser mortals. Do you have a problem with that? Must I exalt us humans more than our Creator God? We are created beings remember--fragile, gullible, and dependent on our sustainer.
In the words of the Oxford Mathematician, John Lennox, “Life isn’t a freak accident.” And, I’m glad it’s not.
